DraftIt does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal details to use the application.

DraftIt is a local-first application. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal information, location, or creative content on our servers.

• Your Content: All canvas projects, images, PDFs, text, and settings are stored locally on your device's internal storage.
• Media Access: The App uses Android's native Photo Picker and Document Picker APIs to import images and PDFs. We do not have broad access to your device's file system.

2. App Permissions

To function correctly, DraftIt requires the following permissions:

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Requested solely to record voice memos within your canvas. These audio files are saved locally to your device cache and are never transmitted, uploaded, or shared by the App.
• Internet: Used to download dynamic fonts from Google Fonts and the on-device machine learning model for Google ML Kit.

3. Third-Party Services and Telemetry

DraftIt integrates specific third-party services that process data entirely on your device or provide essential app assets:

• Google ML Kit (Subject Segmentation): Used for on-device AI background removal. Image processing occurs entirely on your device; your images are never sent to Google. However, to function and improve the service, the ML Kit SDK automatically collects basic diagnostic data (device information and anonymous device identifiers for performance analytics).
• Google Fonts: Used for dynamic font loading.
• Coil: Used for local image caching.

Diagnostic data collection by Google services is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Cloud Backups

If you have Android Auto Backup enabled in your system settings, the Android OS may securely back up your local app data to your personal Google Drive. This process is managed entirely by Google and the Android operating system, not by DraftIt.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all data is stored locally, you have full control over it. You can delete individual projects in the app, clear app data via your device settings, or uninstall the app to permanently delete all associated data. We do not retain copies of your data.

6. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app contains no advertising, social features, or account creation.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using DraftIt, you agree to these Terms. You must use the app in compliance with all applicable laws and not use it for unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purposes.

2. License and Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. DraftIt's design, code, and interface remain the intellectual property of the Developer. You retain full ownership of all content you create or import within the app.

3. User Responsibilities and Data Backup

DraftIt stores all data locally on your device. You are solely responsible for backing up your data (e.g., via Android Auto Backup or manual exports). We are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, app uninstallation, or other causes.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that the AI features will produce accurate results for all inputs.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits arising from your use of the app.

6. Termination

You may terminate these terms at any time by uninstalling the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
